The Higley Knights softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Ironwood Eagles to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Higley moves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Thursday, March 7. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 5-4. Willow Canyon won 16-1 in their recent non-league game against Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Youngker Roughriders (Buckeye, AZ) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 12. Ironwood will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
