The Zwolle Hawks routed the host Leesville Wampus Cats softball squad by a final score of 21-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Hawks (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA). The Gators go into the non-league battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Captain Shreve was routed by Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA), 10-0, in a league battle.
The Wampus Cats now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Washington-Marion for a 4A District 3 battle on Tuesday, March 5. Leesville will meet a Charging Indians squad coming off a 15-14 non-league win over Hackberry (Hackberry, LA). The Charging Indians record now stands at 3-5.
