Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Sea Kings now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Segundo for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9. Palos Verdes will face a Eagles squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Mary Star of the Sea falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Stars travel to Paraclete (Lancaster, CA) to face the Spirits in a Camino Real challenge on Thursday, March 7. The Spirits enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. Paraclete lost 7-3 in their recent league challenge against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA)
