The Merkel Badgers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy Eagles to 0 in the Badgers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Merkel improves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Badgers host Clyde (Clyde, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A Region I District 6 game on Tuesday, March 19. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 17-2.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Wall Hawks (Wall, TX) in a 3A Region I District 6 game, on Tuesday, March 12. San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
