The Mumford Mustangs softball team (Mumford, TX), was routed 7-4 in Tuesday's non-league test with the host West Trojans (West, TX)

Coming up next, the Trojans clash with the Gateway College Preparatory Gators (Georgetown, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 8. West will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Gators come into the test with a 10-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Bullard (Bullard, TX).

The Mustangs (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Somerville (Somerville, TX). The Yeguas come into the 2A Region IV District 26 test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Somerville was routed by Burton (Burton, TX), 10-0, in a league test.
