In Thursday's non-league bout, the Stony Brook Bears (Stony Brook, NY) baseball squad the host Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA), by a tally of 5-2.
Next up, the Bears encounter the Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 28. Stony Brook will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Gladiators enter the bout with a 4-4 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Elbert County (Elberton, GA).
The Lions (5-5) will now prepare for their bout against Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA). The Bulldoggs enter the non-league bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, Winder-Barrow edged Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
