The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Mount Sinai Mustangs (Mount Sinai, NY) and the host Bayport-Blue Point Phantoms (Bayport, NY), observed Mount Sinai's basketball team knock off Bayport-Blue Point by a score of 85-65.
The Mustangs (20-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Southampton (Southampton, NY). The Mariners come into the non-league challenge with a 20-1 record. In their last bout, Southampton gained a win over Miller Place (Miller Place, NY), 73-43, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Bayport-Blue Point falls to 8-5 on the campaign.
