In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Shawnee Indians basketball team scored a close 71-65 win over the Central Catholic Fighting Irish.

The Indians (24-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sandusky (Sandusky, OH). The Blue Streaks come into the non-league contest with a 18-7 record. In their last contest, Sandusky edged Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH), 59-53, in a non-league contest.
