Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Big Valley Christian Lions (Modesto, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Golden Valley improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Clovis East (Clovis, CA) to face the Timberwolves in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Timberwolves go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Lions now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ripon for a battle on Monday, March 17.
