The Thompson Valley Eagles basketball squad (Loveland, CO), was outscored 52-36 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO)

With the victory, Mead advances its record to 22-3 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Frederick (Frederick, CO) to meet the Golden Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. The Golden Eagles enter the battle with a record of 19-6. Frederick won 58-37 in their recent non-league battle against Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO)

The Eagles now own a 17-8 record.
