South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Hiram Hornets (Hiram, GA), 10-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, South Paulding moves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Rome (Rome, GA) to clash with the Wolves in a 5A Region 5 test on Tuesday, March 11. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 6-2. Rome won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Osborne (Marietta, GA)

The Hornets now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cedartown for a 4A Region 7 test on Friday, March 7. Hiram will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Woodland (Cartersville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.
