South Carolina High School Soccer - Airport nudges Westwood

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Airport Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Westwood Redhawks.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against South Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Thoroughbreds go into the AAAA Region 4 outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, South Aiken was edged by Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC), 4-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Redhawks play the Lucy Beckham Bengals (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, March 7. Westwood will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Bengals go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over West Ashley (Charleston, SC).
