Next, the Bulldogs meet the Franklin Lions (Franklin, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 6. McGregor will attempt to upgrade on its 10-0 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 10-0 non-league win over New Waverly (New Waverly, TX).

The Cougars (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against University (Waco, TX). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, University edged Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX), 9-3, in a non-league challenge.
