The Point Loma Pointers triumphed over the host Oceanside Pirates softball squad by a count of 8-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Pointers meet the Mira Mesa Marauders (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 11. Point Loma will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Marauders enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA).

The Pirates (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against San Pasqual (Escondido, CA). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, San Pasqual edged Maranatha Christian (San Diego, CA), 17-3, in a non-league challenge.
