Texas High School Baseball - Vela defeats King

In Thursday's non-league game, the host Vela Sabercats baseball team scored a close 7-2 victory over the King Mustangs.

The Sabercats (6-9) will now prepare for their game against La Joya (La Joya, TX). The Coyotes enter the non-league game with a 11-3 record. In their last game, La Joya held off Rowe (McAllen, TX), 7-4, in a non-league game.
