In Thursday's non-league bout, the Van Vandals (Van, TX) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Wills Point Tigers (Wills Point, TX), by a tally of 12-2.

Next up, the Vandals encounter the Mount Vernon Tigers (Mount Vernon, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 6. Van will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 10-3 non-league win over Farmersville (Farmersville, TX).
