South Carolina High School Softball - Ware Shoals drops to Daniel

March 5, 2026: Ware Shoals, SC 29692

Daniel Lions (Central, SC) fans exited the stadium happy Thursday as they observed their softball team notch a victory over the host Ware Shoals Fighting Hornets (Ware Shoals, SC), 18-6 in a non-league match.

The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Powdersville (Greenville, SC). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Powdersville was routed by Dixie (Due West, SC), 12-7, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Fighting Hornets battle the Easley Green Wave (Easley, SC) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 7. Ware Shoals will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record.
