The Blythewood Bengals baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Berkeley Stags to 2 in the Bengals non-league victory on Sunday.
The Bengals (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Summerville (Summerville, SC). The Green Wave go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Summerville was overwhelmed by Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC), 3-1, in a non-league match.
The Stags (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Warriors go into the AAAAA Region 7 match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Wando was overwhelmed by James Island (Charleston, SC), 12-11, in a non-league match.
