Georgia High School Baseball - Cherokee Bluff sneaks past Seckinger

Spectators at Monday's league battle between the Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) and the visiting Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA), saw Cherokee Bluff's baseball squad edge Seckinger by a count of 4-3.

Coming up next, the Bears play the Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA) in a 4A Area 8 battle, on Tuesday, March 7. Cherokee Bluff will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Jaguars enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Chestatee (Gainesville, GA).

The Jaguars now possess a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Chestatee for a 4A Area 8 battle on Wednesday, March 8. Seckinger will play a War Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 6-5.
