The Varnado Wildcats baseball team (Angie, LA), was overwhelmed 24-6 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting Independence Tigers (Independence, LA)
The Tigers now hold a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amite for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 7. Independence will confront a Warriors team coming off a 30-20 non-league loss to Mt. Hermon (Mt. Hermon, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Wildcats confront the West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA) in a 1A District 9 outing, on Tuesday, March 7. Varnado will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
