Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits (Long Beach, CA) and the host Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA), saw Long Beach Poly's baseball squad edge Segerstrom by a margin of 6-5.

Coming up next, the Jackrabbits play the Jordan Panthers (Long Beach, CA) in a Moore battle, on Wednesday, March 8. Long Beach Poly will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to Costa Mesa (Costa Mesa, CA).
