The Pinecrest Patriots the visiting Wakefield Wolverines baseball team by a count of 10-8 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Grove for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 7. Pinecrest will face a Grizzlies team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-2.

Next, the Wolverines face the Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 9. Wakefield will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Capitals enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Green Hope (Cary, NC).
