Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Western International Cowboys (Detroit, MI) and the visiting Melvindale Cardinals (Melvindale, MI), saw Western International's basketball squad crush Melvindale by a margin of 50-13.
The Cowboys (10-13) will now prepare for their test against River Rouge (River Rouge, MI). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, River Rouge walloped Huron (Ann Arbor, MI), 57-54, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now own a 9-13 record.
