Alabama High School Soccer - New Hope held off by Brewer

The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Brewer Patriots (Somerville, AL) and the visiting New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL), saw Brewer's soccer squad get by New Hope by a margin of 1-0.
The Patriots now sport a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Russellville for a 5A Area 8 test on Tuesday, March 7. Brewer will meet a Golden Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over West Point (Cullman, AL). The Golden Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, New Hope drops to 3-1 on the season. The Indians host Priceville (Priceville, AL) to meet the Bulldogs in a 4A Area 8 test on Thursday, March 9. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 4-3. Priceville lost 5-0 in their recent league test against St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL)
