Clinton Red Devils (Clinton, SC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Devils face the Saluda Tigers (Saluda, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 8. Clinton will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Pelion (Pelion, SC).
The War Eagles now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Porter-Gaud for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 9. Gray Collegiate Academy will face a Cyclones team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Cyclones record now stands at 0-1.
