The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC) and the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), saw Swansboro's lacrosse team nudge New Hanover by a margin of 4-3.
The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against New Bern (New Bern, NC). The Bears enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record.
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions enter the Mideastern challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, North Brunswick was tipped by West Carteret (Morehead City, NC), 12-11, in a non-league challenge.
