In Monday's non-league contest, the Alexandria Trojans (Alexandria, LA) softball team held off the visiting Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers (Shreveport, LA), by a margin of 8-7.

In their next game, the Cavaliers play the Stanley Panthers (Logansport, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 7. Calvary Baptist Academy will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 11-9 non-league loss to Glenbrook (Minden, LA).
