The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the River Oaks Mustangs (Monroe, LA) and the host Caddo Magnet Mustangs (Shreveport, LA), saw River Oaks's softball squad achieve victory over Caddo Magnet by a count of 18-7.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Peabody for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 7. River Oaks will face a Warhorses squad coming off a 21-0 non-league loss to St. Mary (Natchitoches, LA). The Warhorses record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Caddo Magnet falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA) to face the Flyers in a non-league match on Friday, March 10. The Flyers enter the match with a record of 4-5.
