Arizona High School Softball - Cortez loses to Poston Butte

The Poston Butte Broncos softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Cortez Colts to 0 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Poston Butte improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Broncos host Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ) to clash with the Owls in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 8. The Owls come into the game with a record of 0-6. Agua Fria lost 18-0 in their recent non-league game against Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ)

In their next game, the Colts clash with the Eastmark Firebirds (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 8. Cortez will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Firebirds come into the game with a 4-4 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ).
