The Miners now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Pahrump Valley for a 3A South - Desert challenge on Friday, March 10. Sunrise Mountain will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 14-5 non-league loss to Spring Valley (Las Vegas, NV). The Trojans record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Desert Pines falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Western (Las Vegas, NV) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 7. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Western lost 19-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV)
