The Gainesville Leopards softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Ranchview Wolves to 17 in the Leopards non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Gainesville moves its record to 3-8 on the year. The Leopards travel to Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX) to clash with the Bullfrogs in a non-league game on Friday, March 10. The Bullfrogs come into the game with a record of 4-1. Lake Worth won 23-13 in their recent non-league game against Everman (Everman, TX)

In their next game, the Wolves clash with the Caddo Mills Foxes (Caddo Mills, TX) in a 4A Region II District 13 battle, on Saturday, March 11. Ranchview will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Foxes go into the battle with a 10-9 record after their 14-13 non-league win over Maypearl (Maypearl, TX).
