California High School Softball - Hilmar can't get by Pitman

In Monday's non-league contest, the Pitman Pride (Turlock, CA) softball team held off the visiting Hilmar Yellowjackets (Hilmar, CA), by a margin of 8-7.

With the triumph, Pitman moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Pride travel to Edison (Stockton, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 9. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets play the Stone Ridge Christian Knights (Merced, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 7. Hilmar will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
