The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ) and the visiting Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ), saw Mountain View's softball squad achieve victory over Rincon/University by a count of 15-5.

The Mountain Lions now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sunnyside for a non-league match on Thursday, March 9. Mountain View will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-0.

With the loss, Rincon/University falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ) to face the Nighthawks in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 7. The Nighthawks enter the match with a record of 3-1. Ironwood Ridge won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ)
