The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) and the visiting West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC), saw South Stokes's softball squad nip West Stokes by a count of 2-0.

The Sauras now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Surry for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 8. South Stokes will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, West Stokes falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC) to face the Greyhounds in a non-league match on Thursday, March 9. The Greyhounds enter the match with a record of 1-0. North Surry won 17-2 in their recent non-league match against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC)
