Bristol Eastern Lancers (Bristol, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), 66-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bristol Eastern upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Lancers travel to Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT) to play the Ravens in a non-league bout on Friday, March 8. The Ravens go into the bout with a record of 22-2. Academy of Science and Innovation won 70-62 in their recent non-league bout against Suffield (West Suffield, CT)
