The Career Magnet Panthers basketball team (New Haven, CT), was toppled 58-50 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Weaver Beavers (Hartford, CT)

The Beavers now possess a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weston for a non-league battle on Friday, March 8. Weaver will confront a Trojans team coming off a 51-45 non-league win over Cromwell (Cromwell, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 17-8.

This game is a part of the 2024 CIAC Boys Basketball State Championships (Connecticut) - Division IV tournament
