In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Stamford Black Knights basketball team scored a tight 50-47 triumph over the Farmington River Hawks.
In their next game, the Black Knights meet the Manchester Red Hawks (Manchester, CT) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 8. Stamford will attempt to better on its 17-5 season record. The Red Hawks enter the match with a 21-3 record after their 56-54 non-league win over RHAM (Hebron, CT).
With the defeat, Farmington moves to 16-8 on the year.
