Newark Tech Terries (Newark, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions (Paterson, NJ), 65-55 in a non-league game.

In their next game, the Terries face the College Achieve Knights (Asbury Park, NJ) in a non-league game, on Sunday, March 10. Newark Tech will attempt to move on its 19-8 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 21-7 record after their 96-59 non-league win over Pitman (Pitman, NJ).

With the defeat, Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology moves to 23-15 on the year.
