The Marquez Gladiators volleyball team (Huntington Park, CA), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA)

The Pirates (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jordan (Los Angeles, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Jordan nudged Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Gladiators encounter the Maywood CES Wolfpack (Maywood, CA) in a Southern challenge, on Thursday, March 7. Marquez will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Wilson (Los Angeles, CA).
