In their next game, the Oilers face the Riverside Indian Braves (Anadarko, OK) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 8. Merritt will attempt to move on its 25-3 season record. The Braves enter the game with a 26-3 record after their 72-33 non-league win over Vanoss (Ada, OK).

With the defeat, Pocola moves to 21-7 on the year.
