The Western Panthers tipped the host Olivet Eagles basketball team by a final score of 37-30 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Marshall Redhawks (Marshall, MI) in a Interstate 8 game, on Friday, March 8. Western will attempt to move on its 14-9 season record. The Redhawks enter the game with a 10-13 record after their 57-50 non-league win over Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI).

With the defeat, Olivet moves to 14-10 on the year.
