Serra Padres (San Mateo, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA), 9-0 in a league battle.
The Padres now have a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Live Oak for a non-league battle on Friday, March 8. Serra will clash with a Acorns squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Latino College Preparatory Academy (San Jose, CA). The Acorns record now stands at 1-0.
In their next game, the Fightin' Irish clash with the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA) in a battle, on Wednesday, March 20. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
