Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT), 5-4 in a non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridgeline for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 12.
In their next game, the Knights face the Olympus Titans (Salt Lake City, UT) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 7. Lone Peak will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
