Manteca Buffaloes (Manteca, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Patterson Tigers (Patterson, CA), 18-12 in a non-league challenge.

The Buffaloes now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Escalon for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 12. Manteca will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Mountain House (Mountain House, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Patterson falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Vintage (Napa, CA) to battle the Crushers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 5. The Crushers enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
