The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) and the host Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC), saw Orange's lacrosse team nudge Pinecrest by a margin of 10-9.

The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Hawks enter the DC 6/Northern Lakes Athletic/Central/Mid-Carolina challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Seaforth held off Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC), 18-4, in a non-league battle.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) in a United 8/All American/Sandhills battle, on Monday, March 11. Pinecrest will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Colts come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 18-10 league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC).
