In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Aiken Fighting Green Hornets soccer squad scored a close 3-0 win over the Richland Northeast Cavaliers.
The Fighting Green Hornets (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against North Augusta (North Augusta, SC). The Yellow Jackets go into the AAAA Region 4 battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, North Augusta nipped South Aiken (Aiken, SC), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Cavaliers (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Providence (Lexington, SC). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Providence by Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
