Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Rayne Wolves (Rayne, LA) and the host Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy Eagles (Youngsville, LA), witnessed Rayne's softball squad prevail over Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy by a count of 14-3.
The Wolves now sport a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to LaGrange for a 4A District 3 match on Thursday, March 7. Rayne will face a Gators squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to DeRidder (DeRidder, LA). The Gators record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy moves to 1-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Delcambre (Delcambre, LA) to face the Panthers in a 2A District 8 match on Thursday, March 14. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 4-7.
