Beaver Beavers (Beaver, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Pine View Panthers (St. George, UT), 25-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Beavers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 8. Beaver will face a Cougars squad coming off a 16-15 non-league win over Pine View (St. George, UT). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Pine View falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Mountain Crest (Hyrum, UT) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 7. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Mountain Crest lost 9-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Box Elder (Brigham City, UT)
