Eastlake Titans (Chula Vista, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting San Marcos Knights (San Marcos, CA), 14-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poway for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 8. Eastlake will face a Titans squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Imperial (Imperial, CA). The Titans record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, San Marcos falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 11. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Granite Hills won 8-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Academy of Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA)
