Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM), 27-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Hilltoppers now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Valencia for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 7. Los Alamos will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Sandia Prep falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Sundevils travel to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM) to battle the Demons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 13. The Demons enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
